Equipped with 12th generation Intel processors with Intel Iris Xe graphics, the rugged R8 tablet is designed for mobile workers of all kinds who need excellent performance in a compact, lightweight device.

The R8 features an 8-inch WXGA resolution (1280 x 800) LCD display with Durabook's proprietary DynaVue technology with up to 800 nits for good readability even in direct sunlight.

The tablet offers Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3 as standard for fast and reliable wireless connections. Dedicated GPS and 4G LTE with nano SIM are optionally available.

Despite its compact size, the tablet has numerous connections, including Thunderbolt 4, USB 3.2 Gen2 with DP support and a microSDCX reader. Gigabit Ethernet, smartcard reader, barcode scanner and RFID reader are available as options. The optional antenna pass-through connections also make the R8 ideal for use in vehicles or stationary working environments.

R8-EX – POWER, EXTREMELY SAFE

The R8-EX version is available for use in hazardous environments with potentially explosive atmospheres. Its IP66 rating, drop resistance from a height of 1.8 metres and MIL-STD-810H and ATEX Zone 2/22 certifications make the EX version more robust than other comparable devices on the market.
